Hen Party Yoga in Alicante: A Wellness Twist on the Classic Girls’ Trip

This season, I’ve noticed a fabulous (and slightly unexpected) new trend: hen parties booking yoga classes! Yes, you read that right. Brides-to-be and their squads are swapping boozy brunches (well, maybe just delaying them) for sunrise yoga sessions—and I am here for it.

It started with a few bookings—first, a lively group of Italian girls booked a beach yoga session, then a group of German girls at their Airbnb in central Alicante, which had a stunning terrace overlooking the cathedral (dreamy!). Then another British group in El Campello, staying in a gorgeous villa with a pool. These ladies wanted something more than just partying—they wanted a little peace, movement, and connection, even if they arrived slightly hungover.
What surprised me most is how seriously they took it. For many, it was their first time ever doing yoga, yet they rolled out their mats with curiosity, laughter, and open hearts. I genuinely admire their energy and openness—especially when they’re doing downward dogs after a wild night out!
It’s eye-opening to witness this shift: more and more people are weaving wellness into their celebrations, and I love being a part of that. Groups of 6 to 12 friends showing up for a mindful morning—it's a sign that healthy fun is becoming the new cool. And let’s be honest, there’s nothing quite like doing yoga on the beach with your besties, the sound of waves in the background, and the Mediterranean sun warming your face.
Next up? Bachelor/Stag parties. I’ve already had a few curious inquiries, and I’m excited to see what happens when the guys show up on the beach for a flow session. I have a feeling it's going to be equal parts stretching and laughter—and maybe a bit of competitive planking!
So, if you’re planning a hen or stag do in Alicante and want to add something unique, refreshing, and Instagram-worthy to your itinerary… you know where to find me. 🧘♀️✨
